Service Description

Through a playful, creative process, make your own cards that have the potential to connect you to self-discovery and provide personal guidance. Lesley Patterson-Marx, a trained SoulCollage® facilitator, will guide you in this expressive collage art practice in which images and glue are transformed into your own deck of 5”x8” cards that are infused with personal meaning that can help you navigate life’s questions. You don’t have to be an artist to make these wonderful cards in this introduction to a process that is both powerful and a lot of fun. SoulCollage®, founded by therapist Seena B. Frost, is a practice that can be done individually or in community. In addition to making several cards in this workshop, you will learn to do your own readings and discover techniques for using your cards as journaling and writing prompts. You will have the opportunity to “speak” from your cards, sharing their meaning with fellow workshop participants in a nurturing, supportive environment. Participants should bring a water bottle, journal or notebook, and wear clothes for movement and mess-making.
